Accelerated Reader
Emmanuel Lutheran School uses Accelerated Reader software to help our students improve their reading. This program has three primary functions:
- Accelerated Reader provides a more accurate assessment of the student’s reading level
- Accelerated Reader suggests titles of books at the student’s level
- Monitors a student’s progress in reading the current book

ParentLocker
Emmanuel Lutheran School uses ParentLocker, a powerful online grade book that provides students access to a class website, where they can check homework and assignment instructions, view grades, view class schedules, and more. Teachers can set up links to external websites where students can learn more about the study topic. Students can also send private messages to teachers using a built-in email system.
Student Handbook
The Emmanuel Lutheran School handbook describes the expectations for behavior and conduct in the Emmanuel Lutheran School community and outlines the procedures to be followed when these expectations are not met. It is your road map, containing the policies and procedures that will guide you as a student while you live and grow in this community of scholars at Emmanuel Lutheran School.
